Daryl and Sharna Balfour

Daryl and Sharna Balfour are a multi-talented husband and wife team who have spent more than an decade observing and photographing wildlife in some of Africa’s most remote wilderness areas. They have travelled extensively through Africa, living and working in numerous national parks and reserves stretching from Namibia’s desert wastelands to the gamefilled plains of Tanzania and Kenya. Not one is more deeply etched in their memories than Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Here they spent a fascinating year compiling superb visual and textual material. Highly acclaimed works include Rhino (1991), Etosha (1992), Chobe (1996), and African Elephants (1997)

Peter Pinnock

Peter Pinnock started diving in 1973. His interest in photography and love for the ocean prompted him to buy his first underwater camera in 1986. His Career in underwater photography was launched and he soon accumulated an impressive number of awards. Peter’s pictures of the underwater world have appeared in numerous magazines and glossy coffee table books. Peter has dived in many of the world’s oceans. He continues to travel to distant locations to capture the ocean realm on film. Peter lives in Durban South Africa.
